Well…..Storm Darragh rolled into town this weekend and subsequently led to all Parkruns and Junior Parkruns being cancelled over the weekend. NI and Ulster Uneven Age Group Cross Country Championships 2024 – Stranorlar, 2nd November 2024 The annual trip to what we all know as the best county in Ireland, Donegal, for the NI & Ulster Uneven XC championships. 34 Junior Stags made the journey to what is always an excellent event run hosted by Finn Valley AC. Laganside 10km – Kids 1 mile race The club held its annual marquee event on Sunday with record numbers registered for both the kids 1 mile race and the 10km race. First of all, a huge well done and thank you to the organising committee and army of volunteers who made this event happen. Schools out for Summer!…and not just School but our coaches are now going to have a well-earned break so that’s training over now until its starts back on 6th August. We only had Parkruns this week and in total we had 18 Juniors lace up over Saturday and Sunday mornings, great running by every single little Stag, keep it up! Just when we think our Juniors are already running well, they just keep on improving! That was the clear conclusion this week from across Parkruns and the Ulster Schools finals this week. The young stags continue to improve and learn based on their training and coaches advice as evidenced in their current running form.
