Our summer (a very rainy one!) has come to an end and the juniors are getting ready for routine and return to school. They have finished the last week in style though, squeezing in the final Lagan Valley AC Fab5 series at Mary Peter’s, a strength and conditioning class at the clubhouse and the usual park runs. Well done everyone for keeping momentum up over summer and good luck with the return to school this week.
Lagan Valley AC Fab5 Series
A good turn out from our juniors on a very rainy Thursday evening at the last of the Fab5 series. Well done to everyone who competed in the last of the track meets for the season. A special shout out to our 4 podiums on the night; 3rd from Holly Collins in U18’s mile, fabulous running from Cassie and Leila earned them 1st and 3rd place respectively in the U14 1000 metres and a great run from Tanoj earned him 3rd place overall in the 200 metres.
Well done guys, excellent!
