Ardglass 5k/10k (Wed 29th July) Conditions were good for running on Wednesday evening at the undulating Ardglass 5k/10k races which were organised as part of the Ardglass Festival. This week saw more days of warmth and sunshine which Harriers could enjoy or endure depending on their perspective, and came to a relaxed end for those who enjoyed time in the clubhouse together for a chinwag and a cuppa. Sunscreen on and well hydrated the athletes of NBH found a few interesting races to enjoy this week. Herculis 1000m (Monaco Diamond League): Friday 10th July Conor Curran took a fine runners up spot in the Herculis Vet50 1000m race which was staged as part of the Monaco Diamond League in a time of 2:50.3. Another quiet week for our junior stags with only park run action to report on.  This weekend saw North Belfast Harriers juniors competing across Waterworks, Pomeroy Forest and Waterworks Junior park run with strong performances throughout, a number of personal bests and some excellent finishing positions for our young athletes.
