Following success from the All-Irelands school’s cross country this has been a quiet week for the juniors as training starts for track season. Well done to everyone getting started at the road races this week with the Queens 5k on Wednesday evening and the Craic 10k on St Patrick’s day. As always, we had a good number of juniors out completing a variety of park runs. Well done to everyone.
Queens 3k
Well done to Thomas, Cormac and Mason on completing the Queens 3k. Thomas with a great 3rd place (10.04) and Cormac following in 4th (10.10). A strong run from Mason also who finished 40th (11.35).
Queens 5k
Excellent running from Lorcan, Eoin and Holly in the Queens 5k, all running brilliantly to achieve PB’s of 16.41, 16.50 and 18.27 respectively. Great job guys!
Craic 10k
Another great run from Holly on St Patrick’s day in the Craic 10k, finishing with a brilliant time of 39.25.
Waterworks Park Run

Waterworks Junior Park Run
A fabulous turnout at the Waterworks junior park run on St Patrick’s day. Well done to Cormac and Leila on fabulous runs, finishing 1st and 2nd place and getting PB’s of 6.50 and 7.11, excellent running guys! Special shout out to Sophia Doris who also got a PB of 8.52, well done Sophia.
