A busy week as the Harriers took advantage of the “Summer” weather to get out and about and win medals. . The big ticket item this week was the Belfast City Marathon which brought the city alive with athletes from near and far. . Sun 3rd May 2026: Belfast City Marathon Over 5000 athletes took part in the annual Belfast City Marathon which took runners around each part of the city. At every point runners were treated to tremendous support, not least at the Waterworks which is our home turf. They were joined by 48 Harriers who took on the grueling 26.2 mile …

Still, it didn’t stop them winning medals. . 27th Mar – 2nd Apr 2026: European Masters Athletics Indoor Championships Three Harriers travelled to Torun, Poland to represent the Club in the European Masters Athletics Indoor Championships. The Harriers’ Cross Country success continues apace as they add yet another gold medal to this season’s impressive collection. . Not many races this week, probably because training for the 2026 Belfast City marathon has started in earnest, but some Harriers took time out to grab a race medal.
