Autumn is well and truly with us and this week brought Storm Amy. The storm hit hard on Friday and closed the vast majority of our local Parkruns, including the Waterworks. Needless to say, our resourceful juniors still managed to get plenty of runs in. Cross Country Training Storm Amy hit the Valley Park hard with several fallen trees blocking the paths. The 2024/25 season culminated with roasting hot temperatures and Part 3 of the National Athletics Championships. It has been a great season for all of our runners with many highlights shared in previous reports. There have been some great results, achievements and improvements – right from our youngest runners to our older teens. This week was the height of Ulster Track & Field racing and our junior members did not disappoint. We had some great performances and loads of PBs all round. Ulster/NI U14-U19 T&F Championships  U14 Girls – Shot Put Well done to Erin who performed in the shot put event and achieved 4th place with a throw of 7.15m. The fantastic weather brought us some fantastic running also during a very busy week. A wide range of our juniors, from primary level to almost leaving school level were running and did themselves and our club proud.
