As the dust settles after the Belfast Marathon, there were still plenty of Harriers out racing this week over a variety of surfaces and at numerous parkruns on Saturday.

Hill & Dale Hen & Cock
Newcastle AC hosted the latest race in the series and the classic Hen & Cock returned after a few years absence on Thursday evening. The closest in style to an “out and back” fell race, the runners climb both hills and then turn around to return back whilst navigating the steep, technical descents they just came up. Two Harriers made the trip down and safely back to the Mourne mountains.

Run The Runways
A slightly flatter and smoother surface greeted the runners on Friday evening at Newtownards Airport for the Scrabo Striders event. After racing the runways the participants enjoyed the post flight hospitality.
