Atlas Running. Last One Standing, Florencecourt

Greg McClure ran this event which started at 12 noon on Saturday in the beautiful surroundings of Florence Court near Enniskillen. The Fermanagh weather was kind with just a few rain showers and cool temperatures.
The LOS format involves running a 4.167 mile loop every hour, typically on forest paths and trails. As the loops go by runners are gradually eliminated, usually by not completing a loop inside the hour.
The Florence Court course has about 130 metres of elevation per loop, thereby offering a good challenge, especially during the hours of darkness.
Greg managed 15 loops (in 15 hours) for a total of 62.5 miles and did not start loop 16.

Irish National Masters XC DKIT, Dundalk

Sunday saw further success for the club with a Team Gold and an individual Silver at the Irish Masters Cross Country. Laurence took Silver in the M65 category whilst the M35+ Team collected Gold.
