The great weather is well and truly with us. Gone are the woolly hats and jackets, replaced with the factor 50. School is almost out for the summer and this week many of our juniors took part in running events.

Daphne Hamill Meet

(Cormac, Franky & Dualta racing in the Boys 800m)

This event was hosted at Mary Peter’s Track by North Down AC. We had some great results and PBs.

Some really impressive times here. Well done each and every one of you. Cassie Curran also won the U13 Girls 200m race but the clock was broken so unfortunately no time was recorded. Fantastic Cassie.

May Fair Races

Holly Collins took a podium place, coming in 1st in a 5K time of 19:35. Well done Holly.

Race for Life 5K Stormont

Rachel Curry ran in the Race for Lift 5K at Stormont. She raised £187 for Cancer Research. Fantastic Rachel – a great run for a great cause.
