This week brought us into February where we are all looking forward to the longer days and warmer weather (fingers crossed). February should also be the last month where our younger group have to train in the dark.
We had many of our junior runners who braved the cold weather this week.

Well done to all who did the parkruns. Getting up for a 09:30 run at the weekend is very impressive.
Junior XC Series – East Coast Athletics Club:
Later on Sunday morning we had the Junior XC Series, hosted by East Coast Athletics Club. The official results are not available yet but our eyes on the ground have informed us for some very impressive running.
In the Minor girls race: Sophia Doris 4th, Grace McKenna 5th, Eva McLoughlin 6th.
For the Junior boys: Tom McLoughlin 6th.
Best of luck to all our Juniors who have qualified for the Ulster Schools Final on Wednesday. They will all do their schools and club very proud.
