North Belfast Junior Report 1-7th November 2021

On a wet and windy morning in Stranorlar, Co Donegal(middle of nowhere) the junior swifts took on the best in NI and Ulster in the uneven age categories, and after doing so well in Comber XC a few weeks back the coaches were expecting some good runs. Quiet week With no racing this week its all about training and preparation for the Even Age Group Cross Country in Comber(Billy Neill Centre), 24th October 2021.  The kids have been working hard getting their final few sessions in before the juniors first big meet of the mud season.  Having been connected with the club for many years its great to see over 40 junior runners commit to the race with most age groups boys/girls fielding a team. Belfast International Meet No better sight when dandering down the Mary Peters Hill than seeing the junior stags giving their all on the biggest stage.  In the Primary school section 3 juniors selected by NI Athletics coaches from a pool of athletes represented the club with pride and great enthusiasm.
