Quiet week
With no racing this week its all about training and preparation for the Even Age Group Cross Country in Comber(Billy Neill Centre), 24th October 2021. The kids have been working hard getting their final few sessions in before the juniors first big meet of the mud season. Having been connected with the club for many years its great to see over 40 junior runners commit to the race with most age groups boys/girls fielding a team. This will be the biggest junior stag turnout in my time so well done to everyone involved. Today is the cut of to allow names to be collated for entries so if you havent already done so get into a team and come enjoy the fun. It will be great to see a good sprinkle of the yellow and brown vests about the course. Matthew Lavery and Roise Roberts started running in these races as young stags and have developed into two of the best cross country runners in Ireland.
