Just back up the road from the Cavehill Community festival and the place was buzzing. Great to see many of our young runners in attendance and it wasn’t hard to spot the presence of the club gazebos. Well done to all involved.
East Coast Athletics Club Cross Country Series
Cross country season is coming to an end but the East Coast event in Larne gave some of our juniors a last chance to pull on the spikes and get after it. This was the last run in the 3 part series and I will post results when link is available. We did have some podium finishers as per below:

Belfast City Council Primary Schools Cross Country
Also, this week was the primary schools cross country event hosted at grove playing fields. We have several runners from the club taking part. Again we had a few on the podium and i will post full results when available.

Irish Indoor Meet
Holly Collins ran the 800m this morning and came 3rd in the U18 category in a new Pb of 2.30.75!! Well done Holy and I believe she still has to run the 1500m to double up for the day.
Waterworks Parkrun
As per usual we had a sprinkling of junior talent at the waterworks. First home for the club was Oscar in a Pb of 18.30. Dara wasn’t too far behind again running a Pb of 20.29. A sub 20 within touching distance here(maybe a visit to Vicky Park is on the cards). Lucas Mooney continues to run well in a time of 22.19 closely followed by younger brother Isaac in 23.23. Young Milo an ever present was next home in 25.35 with Nola chasing him home in a Pb of 25.35. Oran fininished in 27.52 to finish of a good morning for our juniors.
Waterworks Junior Parkrun
Due to the cross country event in Larne we had only a few runners at the junior parkrun this morning. Cassie lead the club home in first place with a time of 7.40. Thomas Weiniger was next home in 8.43, followed by Aoife in 11.08, then Ronan in 12.05.
