North Belfast Harriers Race Report: 15th – 21st January 2024

As we all defrost after a week full of cool runnings (bobsleighs optional), some eager club members took to the trails in Minnowburn, as well as a great turnout for Parkruns across the country and beyond.

Born 2 Run Minnowburn 10k

Starting and finishing on Mary Peters Track, the multi-terrain course includes undulating trails and country roads through areas such as Barnett Demesne, Minnowburn and along the Lagan Towpath.

The almost 600-strong field included two Harriers, who had fantastic runs on the challenging route.

Parkrun

The icy weather continued into the weekend causing a few cancellations, however for those lucky enough to get to run, the conditions proved favourable with a few Harriers picking up PBs along the way! Many thanks to the volunteers who also braved the cold.
