With the holiday season approaching the race schedule is getting a bit quiet but the harriers were still represented in several events across the country.
Dublin indoor track – Wednesday 8th December
David Clarke and April Clarke made the trek to Dublin to compete in the indoor track race. David completed the 1 mile race in 5:00:30 with a half second PB and April finished in 5:43:34 with a 6 second PB. Well done guys!

Sperrin Harriers Winter Trail Series Lough Fea 5k – Saturday 11th December
Simon Reeve placed 9th in this race with a time of 18:26, well done!
Irwin Spiers Memorial Cross Country – Saturday 11th December
It was a course more suited to a mud run but despite the difficult conditions both the mens and ladies teams finished 2nd. Well done to everyone who took part and a special mention to Joe Gallagher who placed 3rd in the male veterans race and Philip Goss who placed 3rd in the men’s race.

Parkrun
