As the end of the summer approaches, the track events are starting to wind up. On Thursday 18 August, we had some of our juniors taking part in the Firmus AC Meeting at Mary Peters Track. Another great week for our North Belfast Harriers Juniors. Saturday 21 May saw the Ulster Schools Championships 2022. Many of our older juniors took part and we had some excellent results. Special mentions to Max Reid (PB), Caoilainn Curran (PB and NBH female record for 800m), Luke Kelly (PB), Róise Roberts (PB and NBH female record 3000m), Saul Thompson (PB), Eoin McConnell (PB) and Holly Collins (PB). This was a busy week with 2 competition events: The School Districts Track & Field Championships and the NI Youth League Round 1. In addition there was regular training and the weekend Parkruns. Spring finally arrived this week with some fine sunny weather. Things are a little quieter now with no Cross Country races but we had a good turnout at the Waterworks over the weekend. On Saturday, we had a few juniors who did the 5K at the Waterworks. Well done to Phoebe Reid who got a new PB and also to Eimear Coy who did the 5K for the first time.
